A Letter of Thanks from Orit Peretz – Director of a Kindergarten in Kibbutz Manara

I am Orit Peretz, director of Dror Kindergarten in Kibbutz Manara, which was evacuated to Gadot, would like to tell you about the team of “sisters” and the incredible assistance they provided in establishing the kindergarten for the children of Kibbutz Manara.

Without them, the kindergarten would not have been able to come to fruition in such a short period of time, and they have managed to give the children and their families a sense of home and community during the difficult times they are enduring.

Establishing the kindergarten required many meetings, in-depth planning for designing the educational environment and adapting the structure to my educational vision and beliefs.

The “Brothers and Sisters for Israel” were wonderful partners in this process, and they brought to bear their extensive knowledge and experience in the field; creative thinking, great professionalism and boundless giving. Thanks to them, we were able to create an educational environment that is committed to the principles of compassion, creativity and innovation.

They invested many hours of cooperative work, which contributed greatly to the finished product, and they succeeded in creating a kindergarten that encourages learning, curiosity, activism, entrepreneurship, productivity and cooperation between the children.

The kindergarten's design not only reflected my educational vision, but also managed to incorporate innovative and inspiring elements that suit the needs of the children and the entire community.

Thank you letter from Shira Neeman - Kindergarten teacher, Kibbutz Nachal Oz

During the difficult period of the October 7 events, you demonstrated courage, compassion and a desire to help.

You dedicated many hours to ensure that the necessary support would reach those who needed it most. And all of this in a contribution to the community!

Despite the great pressure and effort, you maintained a positive spirit and a personal and warm attitude towards the kindergarten staff and the educational director.

You demonstrated flexibility and creative thinking to adapt the activities to the changing needs while collaborating with the kindergarten staff.

I greatly appreciate your effort, professionalism and dedication. They are an example of meaningful work and endless giving, even in the most difficult times.

Thank you letter from Dana - kindergarten teacher at Savyon Kindergarten in Yesha

“I wanted to thank you for everything you did, for your good intentions, your desire, your help, your listening to the needs of the kindergarten and the children, for moving us so deeply!! You made a dream come true for us (the staff, the children and the parents).

From the first moment you took the change seriously, the drawing, the measurements, the fit, the lifting, the gluing, the beauty and everything down to the smallest details! Thank you for your inclusion and patience, the warmth and love towards us and may we know better days and always be united.
