“A Journey of Identity and Resilience for Youth” is an initiative intended for the youth, the goal of which is to help them develop their personal and social identity, in addition to strengthening their emotional resilience. Programs such as this focus on improving the social, emotional and cognitive skills of the youth, and provides them tools with which to deal with the challenges placed before them by society in the modern State of Israel.

The main components of the Journey of Identity and Resilience for Youth include:

1.     Developing Identity: These programs help the youth understand their individual identity, including values, faith and life goals. This process includes introspection, group discussions and activities that focus on internal reflection.

2.     Strengthening emotional resilience: The programs offer tools for dealing with everyday pressures, anxieties, and challenges. This can include techniques for stress management, problem-solving, and increasing self-confidence.

3.     Social Skills: The youth learn to develop personal relationship skills, such as effective communication, working as a group and understanding others’ feelings. This is important for building and improving healthy relationships.

4.     Social Support: Throughout the journey, the youth garner support from their peers, mentors and instructors, giving them the feeling that they belong and are understood.

5.     Experiential Activities: The programs include experiential activities such as workshops, trips, outdoor activities and crafts that encourage introspection and social connections.

6.     Empowerment: The goal is to provide the youth with the tools and necessary confidence to be active and valued within their communities, and to fulfill their potential.

“The Journey of Identity and Resilience for Youth” aims to provide the youth with the support, knowledge, and tools needed to face life's challenges, develop their personal identity, and build mental and emotional resilience that will help them along the way.
